This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump casing is constructed from cast iron and includes a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 286 T-frame. It uses a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler with a coupler guard. The bearing frame features greasable bearings, and the motor is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature, complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and has a DOE PEI of 0.93.
