This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps for filtration and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pull-out design allows for servicing without disconnecting the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 5 HP WEG motor. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor features an ODP enclosure, NEMA standard construction, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted in a 184JM motor frame with feet. This pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, operates within a 40°C ambient environment, and has a PEI value of 0.91. The top center-line discharge configuration supports self-venting and reduces piping strain.
