This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 184 T-frame, operating at 1750 RPM. The unit is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power and utilizes an across the line starting option. Electrical specifications include AEGIS shaft grounding and premium efficiency compliance with MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler to connect the pump to the motor. The unit maintains a DOE PEI of 0.88.
