This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction port and 8" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed in a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. Sealing is provided by a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which maintains operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump construction does not include a wear ring.
The unit is driven by a 100 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency ODP motor equipped with an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The motor is configured for a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and across-the-line starting. The pump operates at 1750 RPM, utilizing NEMA frame 404, a 40°C ambient rating, and CCW rotation. It is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The assembly features a bearing frame with greasable bearings. This pump is EISA compliant, has a DOE PEI of 0.94, and an HI Energy Rating of 6.
