This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for internal servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and uses a 286 JM motor frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation and features a DOE PEI of 0.94. The starting method is across the line.
