This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. The pump assembly includes a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The internal construction uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit also includes flush seal line taps for optional particle filtration and a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance.
This pump is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460/60/3 PH operation. The motor operates at 3450 RPM and features a 286 JM frame with mounting feet. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting configuration is across the line, and the unit operates in a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump is configured for CCW rotation and has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
