This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 7 1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 254JM frame with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM using a 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power supply. The motor features an ODP enclosure and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, including MG1-12.55 compliance with AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit utilizes an across-the-line starting option and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. This pump follows a CCW rotation and includes a top center line discharge to simplify piping layouts and facilitate self-venting.
