This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction port and a 3" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP, 230-460V/60Hz/3PH TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 286T frame. The unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump assembly is configured for across the line starting and has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.9.
