This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, incorporating a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame.
This pump is driven by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The system operates at 3450 RPM and utilizes a NEMA 286 TS frame. It features an across the line starting option, AEGIS shaft grounding, and premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. The unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
