This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The unit utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting.
This pump is driven by a 25 HP, 1750 RPM WEG motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a 284 JM frame with feet and utilizes across-the-line starting. It operates on 230-460/60/3 power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. The assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.89 and operates with counter-clockwise rotation.
