This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a rear pullout design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and piping alignment.
This pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that operates at 1750 RPM. The motor features a JM frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure, rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. It operates on 230-460V/3PH power with across the line starting and counter-clockwise rotation. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards, and the overall assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.83.
