This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to maintain the dry shaft design. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly is designed to allow for servicing without disturbing system piping and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor. The motor is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply, features a TEFC enclosure, and fits a NEMA 284T frame. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system is set for across the line starting and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature. This model meets MG1-12.55 standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
