This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design includes a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and a rear pullout assembly for servicing without disturbing system piping. The pump is configured with a mechanical seal comprising a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. It incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges, flush seal line taps for particle filtration, and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. The pump utilizes a top center line discharge design.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, no drip cover, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and operates on 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. It features a 184 JM motor frame with feet. The pump is configured for across the line starting and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.83. It is designed for operation in a 40 °C ambient environment.
