This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with an integrally cast bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, which is covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. A ceramic and EPT mechanical seal facilitates operation at pressures reaching 125 PSI. The pump casing integrates suction and discharge pressure tappings for system monitoring.
Powered by a 25 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, the pump receives 380-460V / 3PH power and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The S in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
