This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and an 11-1/4" bronze impeller. The suction connection measures 2-1/2" and the discharge connection measures 1-1/2", both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. This unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid from contacting the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Additional construction features include flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, a rear pullout design, and a top center line discharge.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is built on a 213 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This assembly functions in 40 °C ambient conditions and follows NEMA standards with counter-clockwise rotation. The unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.95.
