This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction port and a 5" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 284T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that features a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
