This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" stainless steel impeller and ANSI Class 125 flanges. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This pump supports a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge assists in self-venting. Flush seal line taps are provided for the installation of an optional filter.
The pump is configured with a 1-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a TEFC enclosure with AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor frame is 145JM and includes mounting feet. It operates on a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply using an across the line starting method. The unit meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements, with a DOE PEI of 0.78. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
