This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for operation in clean water at temperatures up to 250°F and utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting and is housed in a NEMA 284 T frame. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings within the bearing frame. It is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. This pump meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and maintains a PEI value of 0.94.
