This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with center-line discharge. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integral pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This assembly is powered by a 15 HP, 3450 RPM, ODP Baldor motor on a NEMA 215 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60/3PH with across-the-line starting. It includes premium efficiency components meeting MG1-12.55 standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for a Woods coupler. This unit operates within a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
