This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel NSF61 impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. Additional design features include pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, flush seal line taps, and a rear pullout configuration to facilitate service.
The pump is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 284 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM using a 230-460/60/3 power supply, configured with across-the-line starting and CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI of 0.9.
