This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps for seal protection.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 326T NEMA frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is premium efficiency, meeting MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA. This pump configuration has a PEI rating of 0.92.
