This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" bronze impeller. The design uses a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that isolates the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and suction and discharge connections include pressure tappings. The rear pullout design enables servicing without disturbing connected system piping, and the top center line discharge aids in self-venting.
The pump is driven by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor with an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is configured in a 184JM frame style with feet and a drip cover, meeting NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. The pump operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature. This unit maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
