This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. A mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber is included, supporting operation in clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 182T frame operating at 1750 RPM. Power input is 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz, with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is NEMA Premium Efficiency rated and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The bearing frame features greasable bearings. This unit maintains a DOE PEI of 0.88 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
