This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve covering a stainless steel shaft. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft mechanical design rated for 125 PSI that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components.
The pump operates with a 7.5 HP Premium Efficiency ODP motor at 1750 RPM, Aegis Grounding, and 380-460V, 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.44. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a main disconnect, electro-mech bypass, and drive fusing at a 5kA SCCR, holding an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
