This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in venting the pump.
This unit is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 3450 RPM. The motor is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply and uses a 286 JM frame with feet. It meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.9. The pump is designed for across-the-line starting.
