This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ports equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from circulating fluids. Maintenance access is provided by a rear pullout design, and the pump features a top centerline discharge orientation. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. Flush seal line taps are included to accommodate an optional filter, along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a drip cover. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor is housed in a 182 JM frame with feet. This unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and carries a PEI of 0.86.
