This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate fluid transfer. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. A ceramic mechanical seal with EPT rubber components maintains system integrity at a pressure rating of 125 PSI. Integrally cast mounting feet on the casing provide structural support for the unit, while the hydraulically balanced impeller utilizes a key to secure it to the shaft. This configuration allows for maintenance of the mechanical seal and bearing housing without disconnecting the system piping.
The 25 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM and integrates Aegis grounding, powered by a 380-460V 3PH electrical supply, achieving a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
