This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and 4" discharge connection, configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in clean water applications up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates greasable bearings within the bearing frame and utilizes a dry shaft design.
This pump is driven by a 25 HP Baldor ODP motor, operating at 1750 RPM with a 230-460/60/3 power supply and 40°C ambient rating. The motor is housed in a NEMA 284T frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a standard Woods coupler. This configuration features AEGIS shaft grounding and across the line starting. The unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.97.
