This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes suction and discharge gauge ports for pressure monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a 324 T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with a 40°C ambient rating. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and features a Woods coupler covered by an OSHA-compliant guard. The bearing frame uses greasable bearings, and the motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
