This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and 4" discharge, configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The internal assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. This unit is intended for clean water applications and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a NEMA 256 T-frame. It functions on 230-460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating and has a DOE PEI value of 0.97.
