This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The system operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 182 T frame. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This unit maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a DOE PEI of 0.86.
