This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing without a wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. This unit is for clean water applications and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. The motor is an ODP, NEMA 184T T-frame style, configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding device. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This pump uses across the line starting and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
