This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a rear pullout design and top centerline discharge to facilitate maintenance and piping alignment. It includes a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F in clean water. The pump also features flush seal line taps and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The pump is configured with a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 254 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and uses an ODP enclosure without a drip cover. The power requirement is 230-460/60/3 PH with an across-the-line starting option. This motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly has a PEI value of 0.92.
