This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent system fluid from contacting the shaft and incorporates a rear pullout assembly for servicing. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The motor utilizes a 284 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This model features a top center line discharge, meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards, and has a PEI of 0.89.
