This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a 13 1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is configured with a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP, 230-460/60/3PH Baldor TEFC motor in a 256 T-frame. It features AEGIS shaft grounding, across-the-line starting, and 40 °C ambient operation. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.9. It is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The connection utilizes a standard Woods flexible coupler and the bearing frame houses greasable bearings.
