This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing, a 10" diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal assembly includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This pump is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F and incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design enables maintenance without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 10 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. The motor features an ODP enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3PH with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards, and the unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
