This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. It integrates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design rated for 125 PSI. The pump seal consists of ceramic and EPT materials. Pressure tappings sit at both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring, while the center-line discharge facilitates air venting. The construction includes integrally cast mounting feet to support the assembly within the piping system.
Powered by a 5 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis Grounding, the assembly runs on 200-230V / 3PH power and maintains a DOE: PEI = 0.47. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
