This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal assembly includes a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for temperatures up to 225 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a NEMA 213T frame. The system is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
