This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal assembly includes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump is rated for temperatures up to 250°F and utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP motor in a 256 frame. The system uses a Baldor Super E motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. It includes a Woods coupler, a coupler guard, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 efficiency levels. The pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with across-the-line starting and CCW rotation. This unit is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.90 and an HI energy rating of 10.
