This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly uses a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a 286TS NEMA frame, AEGIS shaft grounding, and premium efficiency levels meeting MG1-12.55 standards. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3, utilizing across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
