Grundfos CRN-H Horizontal Multistage End Suction Pumps for Water Treatment, Industrial Process, Pressure Boosting, and Corrosion-Resistant Applications
Grundfos CRN-H Horizontal Multistage End Suction Pumps are corrosion-resistant centrifugal pumps designed for applications requiring high pressure, reliable liquid transfer, and a horizontal pump configuration. Combining the proven multistage hydraulics of the Grundfos CRN platform with an end-suction layout, CRN-H pumps are well suited for water treatment, industrial process water, pressure boosting, filtration, cooling, and other demanding applications.
The Grundfos CRN-H is a horizontal, non-self-priming, multistage end-suction centrifugal pump designed for installation in piping systems and mounting on a foundation. Multiple impeller stages allow the pump to generate substantial head, making the CRN-H particularly useful where both higher discharge pressure and horizontal installation are required.
A key advantage of the CRN-H range is its high-grade stainless steel wetted construction. It is specifically recommended for systems where the parts in contact with the pumped liquid need to be made from high-grade stainless steel. This makes CRN-H pumps particularly useful for treated water, industrial process liquids, and applications where enhanced corrosion resistance is important.
The horizontal arrangement also provides an alternative to traditional vertical CRN pumps when installation height is restricted. CRN-H installations can be beneficial where height clearance is an issue and in applications such as marine installations where horizontal positioning can provide additional mechanical stability.
