Grundfos LCS Long-Coupled Single Stage End Suction Pumps for Commercial HVAC, Hydronic Heating, Cooling, and Industrial Water Systems
Split-Coupled End Suction Pump Performance with Compact Installation and Reduced Alignment Requirements
Grundfos LCS Long-Coupled Single-Stage End-Suction Pumps are base-mounted centrifugal pumps designed for commercial HVAC, hydronic heating and cooling, pressure boosting, plumbing, and industrial water applications. Built under the PACO pump platform, the LCS Series provides the hydraulic performance of a traditional frame-mounted long-coupled pump in a more compact split-coupled configuration.
A key advantage of the LCS design is its split-coupled construction. The pump uses an axially split coupling capable of withstanding torsional, axial, and radial loads, while helping reduce installation complexity. The LCS has a smaller footprint and does not require field alignment and grouting, making it a unique pump design for applications where installation time and space are important.
The LCS Series is useful for projects that need the serviceability and performance of a long-coupled end suction pump without the full space requirements of a conventional frame-mounted arrangement. With available sizes matched to horsepower requirements up to 125 HP, the LCS range is suited for many commercial and industrial pump systems where reliability, compact layout, and easier installation are priorities.
