Grundfos SBA Submersible Booster Pumps for Rainwater Harvesting, Domestic Water Supply, Wells, and Storage Tanks

Grundfos SBA Submersible Booster Pumps are compact, all-in-one pumping solutions designed for domestic water supply, rainwater harvesting, shallow wells, and water storage tanks. By combining the pump and integrated control functions in a submerged installation, the SBA range provides an efficient and space-saving alternative to traditional above-ground booster pump systems.

Because the SBA operates submerged in the water source, pump noise is significantly contained compared with many surface-mounted booster systems. The submersible arrangement is ideal for rainwater tanks, cisterns, and wells where stored water needs to be supplied to fixtures, irrigation equipment, or other approved points of use.

Depending on the selected configuration, Grundfos SBA pumps are available with an integrated suction strainer or floating suction arrangement. Floating suction allows water to be drawn from below the surface, helping avoid sediment that may accumulate at the bottom of a storage tank. The integrated design makes the SBA a practical solution for new rainwater harvesting systems, domestic water installations, and booster pump replacements.
