This Taco Suction Diffuser Rear Strainer Pullout (RSP) is designed to remove debris and prevent clogging in the pump's impeller. It features a flanged design and can handle pressures up to 250 psi. The 12" x 8" size makes it suitable for a variety of applications. As fluid enters the suction diffuser, it slows down and swirls around, allowing any debris or air bubbles to settle at the bottom. The rear strainer pullout feature makes it easy to clean and maintain, ensuring optimal performance of the pump system.

These Taco suction diffusers provide maximum flow efficiency at the pump's suction inlet while reducing space and fitting requirements. This eliminates the need for an equivalent length of ten pipe diameters of straight run on the pump's suction side.
This flow straightening device incorporates numerous features into one device, simplifying installations and reducing installation costs. They act as an elbow (and, in some cases, a reducing elbow) with a built-in strainer.
