This Taco Suction Diffuser Rear Strainer Pullout (RSP) is a 14" x 14" unit that helps ensure that the pump works efficiently by removing any debris from the fluid stream. The suction diffuser is installed upstream of the pump and acts as a strainer, preventing any unwanted particles from entering the pump. This helps to protect the impeller and other components of the pump from damage, thus prolonging its lifespan. Additionally, this suction diffuser features a rear strainer pullout design, which allows for easy cleaning and maintenance without requiring disassembly of the entire unit.

These Taco suction diffusers provide maximum flow efficiency at the pump's suction inlet while reducing space and fitting requirements. This eliminates the need for an equivalent length of ten pipe diameters of straight run on the pump's suction side.
This flow straightening device incorporates numerous features into one device, simplifying installations and reducing installation costs. They act as an elbow (and, in some cases, a reducing elbow) with a built-in strainer.
