This Taco Suction Diffuser Rear Strainer Pullout (RSP) is a flanged device designed to work with pumps. It functions by removing any debris that may have accumulated in the pump's suction piping, preventing damage to the pump. The strainer is located at the bottom of the device and can be easily removed for cleaning without having to shut down the system. With a maximum operating pressure of 250 psi, this suction diffuser has a 5" x 4" size capacity, making it ideal for many applications.

These Taco suction diffusers provide maximum flow efficiency at the pump's suction inlet while reducing space and fitting requirements. This eliminates the need for an equivalent length of ten pipe diameters of straight run on the pump's suction side.
This flow straightening device incorporates numerous features into one device, simplifying installations and reducing installation costs. They act as an elbow (and, in some cases, a reducing elbow) with a built-in strainer.
