This in-line circulator has cast iron construction for the casing and the dynamically and hydraulically balanced impeller. The unit uses 3/4 in to 1 1/2 in flanged connections paired with a replaceable cartridge bearing assembly. This internal configuration includes an alloy steel shaft with a cupro-nickel shaft sleeve, which isolates the bearings from system fluid temperatures. A standard two-piece carbon and ceramic mechanical seal is included, while high-temperature or aggressive fluid applications can use an optional Sealide-C and Viton assembly. The standardized cartridge design permits the use of common service parts to simplify maintenance.
The motor operates at 1/12 HP and 1750 RPM, powered by a 115V supply. Maintenance-free operation is supported by permanently sealed, grease-lubricated motor ball bearings. Utilizing a rear pull-out design, the assembly permits complete removal of the motor and rotating components for servicing without disturbing the connected piping layout.
