Pressing tools, jaws, and chain sets ensure a reliable, permanent connection between NIBCO Press System fittings, valves, and copper piping. NIBCO Press System engineered tools, jaws, and chains are tested and approved to ensure a consistent, reliable crimp. In addition to 1/2" to 4" press fittings, NIBCO offers the industry’s most comprehensive and specified range of ball, gate, globe, angle, check, and butterfly valves and a full line of necessary tools to complete a total system installation.
NIBCO Press Tools
The battery-operated NIBCO press fitting tool is used to create a watertight connection with NIBCO press-to-connect fittings and valves. The pressing tool assures a consistent, reliable, safe, and clean connection with no flame, solder, or flux. The lightweight, ergonomically designed press tool features a pressing head that smoothly rotates 350° making it ideal for working in tight spaces. As a safety feature, an interruptible crimp cycle will instantly stop the forward motion of the rollers when the trigger is released. In addition, a manual retract switch allows the user to return the rollers to the starting position in case of an error or emergency. A unique “N” witness mark is visible when properly crimped.

NIBCO Press Tool Safety
- Only use authorized pressing tools and jaws with NIBCO Press System fittings and valves. Other uses or modifications of the jaws for other applications may damage the press tool, damage the jaws, and/or cause personal injury.
- Keep fingers and hands away from jaws during the pressing cycle. Your fingers or hands can be crushed, fractured, or amputated if they become caught between the jaw tips or between the jaw and any other object.
- Always wear safety glasses while using pressing tools and jaws.
- Never attempt to repair a damaged jaw set. A jaw that has been modified in any manner can fail during crimping resulting in serious injury. Discard the entire damaged jaw set. Replace with a new jaw set.
