Grundfos TPE Vertical In-Line Single Stage Pumps for Commercial HVAC, Hydronic Heating, Cooling, and District Energy Systems
Grundfos TPE Vertical In-Line Single Stage Pumps are electronically controlled centrifugal pumps designed for commercial HVAC, hydronic heating and cooling, district energy, and other building-service applications with variable system demand. Combining a compact in-line hydraulic design with variable-speed motor technology, TPE pumps can adjust their performance to actual operating requirements instead of continuously operating at full speed.
The TPE range builds on the Grundfos TP single-stage in-line pump platform by adding electronically speed-controlled operation. This allows the pump to respond more efficiently to changing flow, pressure, and temperature requirements in commercial buildings and central energy systems. Grundfos TPE3 pumps are specifically designed for heating, cooling, and district energy applications.
A major advantage of the TPE platform is intelligent system control. Depending on the selected model and configuration, control strategies can include proportional pressure, constant differential pressure, constant temperature, differential temperature, and constant curve operation. Advanced TPE3 models also incorporate functions such as AUTOADAPT, FLOWADAPT, and FLOWLIMIT to help optimize pump operation and overall system efficiency.
TPE3 models also offer extensive connectivity for modern building systems. Grundfos supports integration with building management systems, while wireless multi-pump functionality allows compatible TPE3 pumps to coordinate operation without requiring a separate pump controller for certain configurations.
