Taco U-Tube Heat Exchangers for Liquid-to-Liquid and Steam-to-Liquid HVAC Applications
ASME Shell-and-Tube Heat Transfer Solutions for Heating, Cooling, Process, and Hydronic Systems
Taco U-Tube heat exchangers are shell-and-tube heat exchangers designed for reliable heat transfer in liquid-to-liquid and steam-to-liquid applications. Built for HVAC, hydronic, commercial, institutional, and process systems, these heat exchangers provide a practical solution for transferring energy between fluids while keeping the two media separated.
Taco U-Tube liquid-to-liquid heat exchangers are commonly used where heat must be transferred from one liquid loop to another, such as hydronic heating, chilled water, glycol systems, process water, or heat recovery applications. Taco U-Tube steam-to-liquid heat exchangers are designed for applications where steam is used to heat water or another compatible liquid, making them suitable for domestic water heating, building heating, and process heating systems.
Both Taco U-Tube liquid-to-liquid and steam-to-liquid heat exchangers are designed, constructed, and tested to ASME Section VIII, Division 1 requirements. They are available in a wide range of material options to meet different application requirements, and Taco’s computerized product selection helps match the heat exchanger to the required performance conditions.
With in-house fabrication, multiple connection sizes, shell diameters, and optional higher pressure or temperature capabilities, Taco U-Tube heat exchangers provide flexibility for both standard and specialized system designs.
